i - InTeL 

The participation is open to academics from national and international academic centres to showcase their innovative TEACHING AND LEARNING products.  Lecturers and teachers (including teacher trainees), teacher educators, researchers, material and curriculum developers and professionals from corporate sector who are involved in education all over Malaysia and neighbouring countries are invited to participate.

i - InTeL COMPETITION CLUSTERS

Interested participants are invited to submit their innovative products in the areas of:

 

  • Language & Education

  • Science & Technology

  • Social Sciences

  • General Innovation (open category, not teaching and learning products)

  • Abstract must be written in one paragraph only (250 words).

  • Abstract must be written in English or Malay with no grammatical errors

  • A good abstract should contain background, problem statement, objective, novelty, benefits to society and commercialisation potential.

Extended Abstract

  • All accepted extended abstracts will be published in English and Malay as Extended Abstracts Book with e-ISBN .

  • Kindly use the following format for the extended abstracts submission 

  • Submit your papers to the email below: 

  • iintelecsub@gmail.com

  • Extended Abstracts Book is only for i-InTeL 2021 (innovation competition). Full papers for  LEC Conference will be published in our e-Proceedings.

i-InTeL Video presentation

  • The video presentation should be 5 minutes long. Do not exceed 5 minutes.

  • The video will be judged based on the following criteria

    • technical aspects including clarity and quality of visuals (lighting) and audio (sound)

    • content of the presentation (e.g. interesting, relevant, presentation of ideas, creative)

    • delivery of the presentation (e.g. clear speech/pronunciation, eye-contact, dynamism)

  • The video presentation can be in the form of presenter(s) appearing in the video presenting the product, and/or the use of PowerPoint slides accompanied by voiceovers.

i-InTeL Video presentation submission guidelines

  • The video must be uploaded on YouTube. Please set the privacy setting to ‘Unlisted’ if you wish to restrict the audience to those who only have access to the link of your video.

  • Submit your video link via email to i.intelec@ubd.edu.bn with the subject title “i-InTeL video presentation”. In the email message, please include the following information:

    • Title of the product

    • Organisation

    • Category

    • Name of leader

    • Names of participants
