LEC OBJECTIVES

  • This conference will greatly benefit lecturers, researchers, material and curriculum developers as well as second and foreign language teachers.

  • Scholarly exchange and interaction based on research findings.

  • Confronting issues and challenges in language, linguistics and literature teaching and learning especially in facing the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

  • Open to second and foreign language lecturers and language teachers (including teacher trainees), teacher educators, researchers, material and curriculum developers from public or private institutions, local and international.

  • Linguists, critics, and professionals from the corporate sector as well as those who are interested in language teaching and learning, linguistics and literature.

Five (5) best selected full papers  will be awarded:

  • Best Paper Award: RM200 (USD 50) & e-cert

*All presenters will receive presentation e-certs

LEC SUB-THEMES

The conference invites participation from members of the academia to submit unpublished theoretical, empirical and scientific papers focusing on the following sub-themes:

  • Language Teaching/Learning

  • ICT and Language Teaching/Learning

  • Language Education and Policy

  • Literacy

  • Linguistics

  • Applied Linguistics

  • Literature

 

And any other relevant study area.

LEC ABSTRACT GUIDELINES 

  • Abstract must be written in one paragraph only (250 words)

  • Abstract must be written in English or Malay with no grammatical errors

  • A good abstract should contain background, problem statement, objective, methods and materials, findings, conclusion and recommendation.

  • 15-20 minutes

  • Virtual paper presentation in English or Malay language
